3. Play It French (Babybroadway) – Online Workshops @ Prithvi

What if you could learn a new language & act in it too? This workshop takes the young participants through a week-long introduction to the basics of the French language and phonetics through Theatre, Music and Drama. Learn some French, creatively express and confidently emote, as a performer.
4. Rangashankara Festival

This year, the Ranga Shankara Theatre Festival showcases the works of the 6 Shankar Nag Theatre Award winners, while celebrating a huge first – going digital. Watch an exciting line-up of plays online, or go over to Ranga Shankara and enjoy a screening (limited tickets available at the venue), along with their signature ancillary activities.

5. Museum Of Memories

Sandbox Collective invites applications from individuals between 21-25 years interested in curating a multi-arts digital museum. Museum of Memories (MoM) is conceptualised as a multi-arts digital museum that looks at the idea of heritage through the lens of gender. MoM will host the works of selected young contributors from across India. It hopes to be a repository of untold stories of women and other gender minorities through various media. This is a paid project.
They are looking for two Curators to envisage, create and execute this project. Applicants with experience in leading multi-media, digital, theatre and other arts projects are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of Graphic and Web Design is an added advantage.

Zakir Hussain and the art of the Indian Drum

Zakir Hussain is the greatest living exponent of the tabla. The films charts his growth from the by-lanes of Bombay to his fame as a world musician. The film features outstanding live concerts and insightful interviews with the maestros of classical music.
7. Interfaith Friendships

Compassion Contagion are urgently looking to connect for a new story on interfaith friendships, communal harmony and building inter-community bridges in the times of extreme polarisation and hate. They would like to connect with artists, musicians, writers, poets, lawyers, organisations, curators and all individuals who are in their own way taking a stand to create a dialogue on the need for interfaith bridges, secularism and fighting the politics of hate with love.
8. Letters To A Daughter From Prison

“Little one, may you grow up into a brave soldier in India’s service!”
Nehru the statesman, constantly in and out of jail in India’s struggle for Independence, is continually separated from his shy, intellectual daughter Indira Priyadarshini in the turmoil of building a country. They forge the bonds of a loving, nurturing and formative relationship through their detailed, prolific letters to each other.

9. Drama. Discourse. Dialogue

A retrospective of plays by Manjula Padmanaban presented by Prakriti Foundation.

A rehearsed reading from the book of plays (Laughter & Blood, Blood & Laughter). The play Bed Bugs is being directed by Namrata Sharma of Khela Theatre. A mother, her grown son and his new bride are all together in a single large bed.
10. Ventriloquism Workshop

A ventriloquism workshop that will teach you how to change your voice and speak with Puppets. Satyajit Ramdas Padhye, India’s leading Ventriloquist, Puppeteer and Puppet-Maker will be conducting a Ventriloquism Workshop online for the first time.
11. Dance and Movement with Storytelling

Conducted by trained Dance/Movement Therapist Auritra Ghosh, for Kommune
Stories have been carried down over centuries through different art forms. Dance/movement is one such medium of expression though which we convey myriad emotions of connection, passion, beauty, sorrow, romance etc. Even before the arrival of language, stories used to be told with movements and rhythm. In this workshop, you will explore unusual ways to tell a story through movement and creating a safe space for learning and sharing through activities, music, art and conversations.
